The fury of Achilles
In the tenth year of the Trojan War, the Rage of Achilles
flares up between Achilles and Agamemnon. When Agamemnon withholds the spoils
of war from Achilles, Briseis, Achilles is enraged and withdraws from the war.
In Achilles' absence, the Trojans, led by Hector, defeat the
Greeks. Achilles' best friend Patroclus decides to fight the Trojans in
Achilles' armour. Patroclus dies at the hands of Hector.
The death of Patroclus deeply saddens Achilles. Achilles
returns to the war to avenge Patroclus. Achilles and Hector face each other and
Achilles kills Hector.
